08/03/26 - For sale is a Westley Richards Best Hammerless Model chambered in 12 Gauge made sometime between 1884 and 1886. The shotgun is in fantastic condition with a gorgeous scrollwork engraved on the receiver. The sides of the receiver have a case-hardened finish, and underneath is a deep bluing. There's a slight tarnish on the surface over the serial number. The stock and forend are in equally excellent condition with a nice checkered texture on the grip. The barrel has a deep bluing throughout with a mirror-bright bore. The shotgun comes in an original Westley Richards hard case made by Abercrombie and Fitch. The liner within has some wear, but overall in excellent condition. Also included are cleaning tools, Dummy cartridges, oiler bottle, clearing/cleaning rod, and a spare buttpad.
