Description

9/26/23 - This is an interesting Steyr Model 1912 pistol with 1917 date but no serial numbers. While there is no serial number, there is a unit marking on the lanyard ring. Further, this pistol is marked '.38 AUTO' on the slide but is actually still in the original 9mm Steyr. The bluing on the pistol is original but thin throughout, most notably on the front strap and left/top of slide. Bore has strong rifling but minor frost throughout. Nice, wood grips but there is a surface crack in the right panel. Mechanically fine.
