06/29/26 - For sale is an Izhevsk M38 Mosin Nagant Carbine made in 1941. The carbine had undegone the usual post-war Refurbishment. The metal has a dark bluing with patches of surface oxidation and tarnish. The stock has the shiny varnish seen on most refurb rifles. There is a repair behind the upper tang and trigger guard. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling. The surface is oxidizing and frosting over. The rifling is showing wear towards the muzzle. The muzzle is counterbored. The carbine has refurb-matching serial numbers on the barrel shank, bolt, buttplate, and magazine floor. Import mark on the receiver.
