Description
11/12/20 - This is a WW2-era Japanese Arisaka Type 38 bolt action rifle, chambered in 6.5x50mm. This particular gun was made in Manchuria at the Mukden Arsenal. The mum is fully intact. The gun is mostly matching, including the receiver, bolt and bayonet lug. The cocking knob and bolt release are mismatched. Overall, the gun is in very good condition but the disparity between the finish on the barrel/receiver and the trigger group leads us to believe it was arsenal refinished. The stock has various dings and chips but no structural issues. The bore has strong rifling but frost throughout and needs a thorough cleaning.Specifications
