1941 Transitional RZM Hitler Youth Knife

10/11/24 - This is an original WW2 German Hitler Youth Knife. This knife is a transitional model with a maker stamp on one side of the blade, and an RZM maker code and date on the other side. The blade is in great overall condition; clean with mild speckling patina and some light surface scratches and scabbard rub wear. The edge appears to be very finely and cleanly sharpened and is clean throughout. The maker stamp is crisp, centrally located on the reverse of the blade. The front-facing side of the blade is stamped on the ricasso with a 1941 date and RZM maker code. The original leather stopper is intact and in great condition. The hilt shows natural patina throughout. Excellent original grips with a strong diamond pattern and an original emblem affixed on one side. Comes with an original scabbard that's in great condition and still retains the original leather frog and retaining loop.
