Description
12/22/20 - This is a very nice example of an end-of-war Walther PP that was assembled by and later nickel-plated by a GI. Because it was never fully assembled or issued, there are no firing proofs and no slide legend. And the slide and frame are mismatched because they were assembled by parts laying around. This is a documented variation. This is in the correct serial range for that variation. It was brought home and later nickel-plated. This was common. It has retained about 92-93% of its nickel finish. There is wear on the straps, tang, and back of the slide. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. It comes with excellent grips and a nickeled magazine. The slide has a little trouble staying back. If you push up slightly on the magazine bottom, it works fine.Specifications
