M42 No Decal Helmet

7/14/25 - This is a great example of an M42 German helmet. The paint is an apple green with scratches on the top and sides of the outer dome. There metal is in outstanding shape with small freckles of patina on the outside dome and still has all of the split pins intact. The interior of the helmet contains the steel banded leather and the leather liner is still soft and malleable with very minor surface cracking at the rim where it meets with the steel band. The helmet also has the full leather chin strap attached to it along with the buckle, and the long piece of the leather is torn nearly all of the way through. Stamped lot #5151.
