05/14/26 - For sale is an Erfurt Kar98a made in 1918 with the rare trench mud cover. The rifle overall is in great shape with a nice military blue finish. Patina/tarnish is developing on the surface, giving it a more cloudy finish. Freckles of oxidation and wear throughout. The front barrel band has the most wear. The stock is in great shape without any cracks or breaks. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The mudcover has the proper proof marks on the left side of W/Co DR. Also included is an original cloth Kar98 sling.
