Description
10/05/26 - For sale is a German G98/40 rifle made by FEG of Occupied Hungary in 1943. These rifles were turnbolt Mannlicher rifles with K98k style features made for the German Military. The metal finish is worn, with dark oxidation spots throughout and bare metal showing through. The stock shows dings and nicks but has no cracks or breaks. There is some Cyrillic scratched into the buttstock that was later lined out. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the barrel, receiver, bolt, bolt sleeve, cocking piece, safety, magazine floor, trigger guard, stock, both barrel bands, bayonet lug, and rear sight. The cleaning rod is absent.
