Description
03/03/26 - For sale is a Japanese Type 2 Paratrooper rifle made by the Nagoya Arsenal and chambered in 7.7x58. The rifle is a takedown variation of the Type 99 short rifle used primarily by the TERA and SNLF forces of the Imperial Military. The rifle is able to split into two halves. The rifle has lost the majority of its original finish and is now a patina'd grey color. The stock is in great shape without any cracks or breaks. There is corner wear on the toe where it meets the buttplate. The forend and handguard are in great shape without any excess wear. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but does begin to thin at the muzzle. There is a couple specks of old oxidation at the muzzle. The rifle has matching assembly numbers on both halves of the takedown parts, as well as matching serial number on the receiver, bolt, safety, firing pin, and bayonet lug. The Imperial mum has been canceled out. The cleaning rod is a reproduction.
