07/13/26 - For sale is a Mauser Banner K rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser made in 1934. The rifle is the precursor to the K98k. The rifle is shows heavy wear with the polished bluing fading to bare metal. The stock is equally worn with a lot of surface scuffs and dents. There is "HIRT" scratched into the bottom of the buttstock. The bore is bright with good rifling. The surface is oxidizing towards the latter half of the bore. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, barrel, bolt, bolt sleeve, safety, cokcing piece, firing pin, bolt stop lever, rear sight base, trigger guard, and magazine floor. Comes with an early leather sling.
