Description
3/1/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser C96 Rig, manufactured in 1912-1913. It has an imperial marking on the frame, indicating it was initially issued to the Imperial German army. It also has a "1920" date on the left side of the barrel, indicating it was reworked after WW1 (likely for commercial resale). The gun is matching and comes with a matching wood stock. It has retained about 94% of its original bluing. There is wear around the muzzle, on the underside of the barrel, on some of the high edges, and one spot on the left side of the frame. A small area of spotty oxidation on the right side of the slide. It comes with original matching grips. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. There are a couple of hairline cracks in the stock, visible when the cover is opened.Specifications
