Description
09/08/26 - For sale is a Clean Mauser Gewehr 98M that was used by the Third Reich well into the 1930's. The rifle was updated with the tangent sight after WW1, then accepted into service by the Third Reich, stamped with a Reichsadler on the barrel. The metal has worn bluing, with it turning a grey color. The surface has spots of oxidation and some old corrosion. The stock shows signs of being sanded and has a smooth finish. The stamps are thinning. The bore is heavily worn with little to no rifling remaining. The surface also has some pitting. The rifle is completely mismatched. The barrel is import marked.
