Description
10/21/26 - This is a mint example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1944. Introduced in 1929 as a police pistol, the PP was one of the first successful double-action semi-automatic pistols, and during WWII it was widely issued to German officers, police and other personnel, with military-accepted examples carrying the "Waffen 359" acceptance proofs. All matching with the proper "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on the left side of the slide and frame. The gun has retained 98%+ of its original finish, with just a hint of muzzle wear and a few small dots of discoloration along the left side of the slide. There is one small ding in the middle of the top strap. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips, and comes with a proper wartime magazine. Mint bore, 10/10.
