Description
8/7/24 - This is a scarce, early example of an Argentine Colt Model 1927 in minty original condition. This pistol was part of a special order of only 10,000 that were produced by Colt in Connecticut before production was transferred to Argentina. In the 1920s, Argentina was preparing for a military modernization program with a domestic arms industry, but first negotiated a contract with Colt for 1911A1s that have a specialized serial numbering with the Argentine crest on the slide. Matching serial numbers on the slide, frame and barrel. The gun is in near-mint condition and comes with Colt factory letter confirming details on the history of this gun. Just a tiny bit of thinning on the grip safety. Perfect grips and an excellent bore. Two-tone magazine.Specifications
