10/28/26 - This is a mint example of an F.LLI Pietta reproduction of the Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver, made in Italy and chambered in .44 caliber for black powder. It features a polished brass frame, back strap and trigger guard, a deep blued octagonal barrel and cylinder, a color case-hardened loading lever and hammer, and a smooth one-piece wood grip. The barrel is marked "F.LLI PIETTA - MADE IN ITALY" and "BLACK POWDER ONLY 44 CAL.", and it carries the proper Italian proof marks. The revolver is in mint condition with no notable signs of wear. Mint bore. A great shooter or display piece for any fan of Civil War-era revolvers. No FFL required.
