Description
10/21/26 - This is a minty example of a West German Sig Sauer P226 chambered in 9mm, manufactured in 1988. Developed for the U.S. military's XM9 pistol trials, the P226 went on to become one of the most respected service pistols in the world, carried by the Navy SEALs and countless police agencies, and the early West German-made guns are especially sought after by collectors. It has the proper "MADE IN W. GERMANY" marking with SIGARMS Herndon, VA import markings, and the frame, slide and barrel are all matching numbered. It comes with its original matching numbered box, matching numbered test target, owner's manual and two Sig Sauer magazines. The original finish rates about 97-98%, with just very minor muzzle wear and some very light scratches and scuffs here and there, most noticeable on the slide. Fitted with excellent black plastic grips. The bore is 8.5/10, with strong rifling and mostly shiny, but there is some minor fouling in the grooves.
