3/31/20 - We are selling this Remington 1911A1 on consignment for an advanced collector who described this gun as one of the nicest early Remington's he has every encountered. Made in 1943, it has a second model logo and the early Dulite finish. The FJA inspector proof is the small variation. The gun has about 98-99% of the original Dulite finish still intact. Perhaps never issued and sat in a desk or storage throughout the war and beyond. A very rare find for the advanced collector who wants a MINT gun. Correct blued magazine, marked L. HS barrel with proper S proof. The bore is mint - fantastic find.
