Description
5/27/21 - This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1. The gun is matching, has the proper flaming bomb an eagle head proofs. "US Property" marking on the underside of the barrel. It has retained about 98% of its bluing. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle and high edges of the cylinder. Roll mark on the cylinder. There are a few very light scratches here and there and minor swirly discoloration on the right side of the frame. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Excellent wood grips. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
