Description
3/12/21 - This is a WW2 Remington 1911A1 that was modified in the 1960s for National Match shooting for civilians at Camp Perry. Commonly known as the "Camp Perry National Match" gun. It has the National Match barrel, slide and sights. All correct for this model. Also, the unique front strap is stippled as only the Camp Perry guns were made like this. The original Remington was from 1943 and has the FJA inspector proof, but then hand crafted into a very tight and accurate competition pistol. The action is very tight as the parts are hand fitted. Excellent parkerized finish with minimal wear. Minty bore and grips.Specifications
