Near-Mint West German Sig P226 - Matching Box & Test Target

09/18/26 - This is a near-mint example of a SIG SAUER P226, chambered in 9mm, manufactured in 1990, and housed in its original factory box, which has serialized and matching labels on the front and right sides. It has all the proper West German features, including three matching and serialized parts: the frame, slide and barrel. The right side of the frame displays the model designation alongside the "MADE IN W. GERMANY" country of origin stamp. The frame, slide chin, and barrel feature German nitro proofs, a Kiel proof house mark, and the correlating "KA" date code for 1990 production. Other early German hallmarks include the stamped, thinner slide and tapering top flat. The pistol is in fantastic condition, retaining about 99% of its original bluing. The only notable wear is a small mark under the takedown latch and a couple spots of barely- visible freckling on the left side of the slide. Minty bore, mirror bright with sharp rifling and only minor signs of use. Fitted with an excellent set of original grips that show a few light scuffs at the top of the left panel. Mechanics are smooth and trigger is excellent in both double and single action. Besides the factory box, this listing also includes the original factory test target, which is also numbered to the gun, two factory magazines (one of which is a desirable early production zipper back), as well as the original German owner's manual. There is a tiny import mark discreetly stamped on the inside of the magazine well.
