06/26/2024 - For sale is a Czech K98k made by the BRNO arsenal after WW2. These K98ks were assembled with leftover parts after the German surrender. The receiver has been scrubbed of any German markings. The rifle retains its original bluing but is browning with age. The stock is in great condition overall but has been lightly sanded. A previous owner has also bedded the action to this stock and over the stock recoil lug. The rifle uses leftover semi-Kriegsmodell parts like the stock and buttplate. The rest of the parts are late war K98k parts. The barrel is stamped dot/13 and a 45. The rifle is matching on the receiver and bolt and it is missing its cleaning rod. The stock is stamped SYL and 1963 which may be a rack number.
