09/03/2024 - For sale is a French Gras Mle 1874 M80 rifle made by Chatellerault in 1883. The rifle is in great condition for its age without any major blemishes. The metal has a lot of its original bluing but has browned heavily with age and oxidation. The stock is in nice condition without any cracks or breaks. There are plenty of handling and pressure marks. The bore is bright and excellent for how old it is and the rifling is excellent. The rifle has matching numbers on the barrel, bolt head, bolt, cocking piece, and cleaning rod. The rear sight has numbers that do not match the serial number.
