06/29/26 - For sale is an Izhevsk M44 Carbine chambered in 7.62x54r and made in 1946. The carbine had undergone post-war Soviet refurbishment. The metal has the typical dark bluing with some surface oxidation. The stock has a shiny varnish from the refurbishment. There is a 1/4" hairline crack behind the trigger guard. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The carbine has matching refurb serial numbers on the barrel shank, bolt, buttplate, and mag floor. Import mark on the receiver.
