Description

2/12/2025 - For sale is a Model 98/29 Mauser that was made by BRNO for the Kingdom of Persia. The rifle has a nice blued finish throughout. The main blemish on the metal is the pitting that is on the bolt assembly and buttplate. The stock is excellent with minor handling marks. The buttstock has areas of dark discoloring. The receiver retains the crest of the Shah of Persia. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, and stock. There is a small 1" crack below the middle barrel band. The bore is bright with great rifling but there is pitting visible at the crown. There is a small "SARCO" import mark under the barrel.
