Description

02/03/26 - For sale is a US Military marked Remington Sportsman shotgun chambered in .12 Gauge. The metal has a nice parkerized finish throughout with light scratches on the surface. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Remington Logo, and the top says "Military Finish" next to a US Flaming Bomb. The barrel is also marked with the US Flaming bomb and "Imp CYL". The bore is very bright. The stock is in great shape but has been lightly sanded. The left side of the stock is stamped "FJA" and the Ordnance Wheel. The toe of the stock was cracked and repaired. The forend has a few 2" cracks to where it meets the receiver. The buttplate is also cracked in the same place and glued on. The barrel serial number does not match the receiver. The barrel measures 26" for Aerial Training. 

The Finish on these guns is a Polished blue or a military bluing, but this example is parkerized. Model 11 & Sportsmans did go through Arsenal overhauls and get a parkerized finish, but this example lacks the Arsenal Initials on the left side.
