1/30/25 - For sale is a Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 that was originally made in 1913 but was reworked for the USMC. The rifle shows the typical signs of being a USMC rework like the hatcher hole, a Sedley barrel, and the manually checkered buttplate. The bolt likely was replaced as it does not have a E-pencil serial written on the body. The rifle is in good condition with a smoothed parkerized finish throughout. The stock is in great shape with no crack so breaks to note. The barrel is marked USMC 8-41. The bore is bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion rates a 1.
