06/19/2024 - For sale is a No5 Mk1 "Jungle Carbine" used by the British Commonwealth during and after WW2. These carbines were designed as a shortened & lightened Lee Enfield rifle to make it easier to use in the jungles of Asia. This rifle has all the correct features for a No5 Mk1. The rifle is in good condition overall and has managed to avoid getting refurbished after WW2. The finish is fairly worn. The stock is smooth but has been refinished in the past. The bore is dark with good visible rifling. The rifle is mismatched. It comes with 40 rounds of PPU and Herters .303 ammo and a canvas sling.
