09/03/2024 - For sale is a nice No4 Mk1* Lee Enfield made by Savage Company as aid to the British Commonwealth. This rifle seems to have avoided FTR refurbishment as it has not been refinished with the black enamel paint. The rifle is in great condition otherwise with an aged parkerized finish on the metal. The stock is in great condition with plenty of signs of wear and use. The bore is bright with good rifling but there are some dark spots in the grooves and there could be carbon buildup that needs a better scrubbing. The rifle's serial number is matching throughout.
