5/7/25 - For sale is an Enfield No1 Mk V Trials rifle that was made in 1922. The No1 Mk V was an attempt at updating the No1 Mk3 rifles with aperture sights. Roughly 20,000 were made and sent out for trials with soldiers. The rifle retains a nice dark, blued finish with dotting of patina and old surface oxidation visible. The stock is in great condition with dings and handling marks throughout. There are a couple cracks stemming from the receiver on the handguard. The rifle has a mismatched bolt. The receiver collar is stamped V, along with the safety. The bore is bright with strong rifling.
