Description
1/8/25 - For sale is an Enfield No1 Mk V Trials rifle that was made in 1922. The No1 Mk V was an attempt at updating the No1 Mk3 rifles with aperture sights. Roughly 20,000 were made and sent out for trials with soldiers. The rifle retains a nice dark, blued finish with dotting of patina and old surface oxidation visible. The stock is in great condition with dings and handling marks throughout. There is a large arsenal repair behind the buttplate spliced on. The rifle has matching numbers on the bolt and receiver. The receiver collar is stamped V, along with the safety and cocking piece. The bore is bright with good rifling with a slight frosting towards the muzzle.Specifications
