Description
10/08/26 - For sale is a Winchester Model 1876 rifle chambered in .45-60, made in 1882. The bluing has aged and worn away on the rifle. The receiver is a darkened grey from the old bluing, with a hint of brown patina developing. The side plate has some surface oxidation freckles. The barrel and magazine tube have a deeper brown color from oxidation, and there is some corrosion around the muzzle. The stock is in good shape overall with no cracks or breaks. The surface is smooth and was likely lightly sanded or cleaned in the past. The bore is an 8/10, bright with good rifling, but prickling of pitting is visible.
