SOLD - Nice ZF4 G43/K43 Scope with Walther Mount

7/20/26 - This is a nice example of a ZF 4 scope which was manufactured by Voigtländer und Sohn in 1944. These scopes were made primarily for the K43 and G43, though some were produced for the FG42. This scope is also compatible with G41s. On the left side of this scope, it bears "Gw ZF 4 / 61059 (serial number) / ddx. (maker's mark)." Beside the maker's mark is a triangle that has been filled in blue. These triangles were used as indicators to show what type of grease was used in the scope. Blue triangles were more resistant to colder temperatures and thus were used in the colder regions of the war. The knobs on this scope move well and work as intended. The reticle is clear and both lenses are in good working condition. The scarce Walther base shows some high-edge wear, but bears a clean E/359 on the right side of the mount. This scope comes with a period-correct leather and wood lens cover. The lens cover is in great shape and shows no signs of ripping or tearing on the leather or the stitching.
