Description

1/13/25 - For sale is a Norwegian Model 1912/16 short rifle made in 1912 at the Kongsberg arsenal. The rifle is functional but is missing some external parts like the handguard, rear barrel band, and nose cap screws. The metal retains some of its bluing but has plenty of wear and old discoloration spots. The stock is original but well worn. There is a chip missing above the serial number on the left side. There is a crack about 2" in length on the left side, a 3" crack on the right side, the finish stripped on the right side, and a 2" chip missing in front of the magazine. The bore is in good shape but the grooves are darkened and some pitting is visible at the muzzle. The rifle is mismatched throughout.
