Description

6/13/23 - This is a very nice example of a Krag-Jorgensen Model 1912 issued to the Norwegian military in 1916. This one has the proper Norwegian proofs and Kongsberg "Crown K" on the receiver. Most of the gun is matching, but the bolt is mismatched. No import marks. The rear sight has been removed, and the gun has been equipped with a really nice Redfield adjustable rear peep sight. The metal parts have retained roughly half of their original finish. There is obvious thinning on most of the parts, and the majority of the remaining finish is on the receiver. The stock is numbered and matching but appears to have been lightly sanded and lacquered. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn, and there is minor pitting and surface oxidation throughout. Comes with a nice leather sling.
