Description
10/7/26 - This is a very nice example of a scarce "out of sequence" Nambu Type 94 issued to the Japanese military in June of 1943. On this variation, the serial number does not match the production date on the frame - this only happened on about 300 pistols, all in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper transitional features, such as the straw-colored small parts. It comes as a rig with one original matching magazine, one period-correct but mismatched magazine, and a nice period-correct leather holster. The finish rates about 94-95%, with a noticeable area of discoloration on the right side of the frame and just minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. Minty bore. A scarce Type 94 variation that is seldom offered, complete as a rig.
