Description

8/16/21 - This is an original and correct Steyr Hahn M1912 that was reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2.  The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm.  They were stamped '08' to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L.  This pistol is all original and correct with about 90% bluing remaining.  There is some finish loss on the left side of the slide, and a large area of finish loss on the front strap that has some scratches in it, as well.  Slide and frame are both dated 1915.  Excellent bore.    Comes with a very nice reproduction holster.
