Description
10/4/22 - This is a very nice example of the very rare and iconic Borchardt C-93 as manufactured by Loewe & Company of Berlin. The Borchardt pistol employed the unique toggling breech mechanism which was eventually adopted and refined by George Luger and was used for the production of the Luger P.08 pistol. It's one of only 1,100 manufactured, and presumably no more than a couple dozen still exist with the original matching stock and magazine. This one also comes with the extremely rare, original holster, and also an original oiler. While there isn't much actual bluing loss overall, there is oxidation on much of the pistol. The grips are in great shape considering the age, with a minor handling wear on each panel. The stock has a previous owner's name lightly scratched into the left side and also has a series of repeated dings or indents on the same side. The holster is very worn and cracking and shouldn't be handled directly much but they are very hard to find. Unfortunately, the bore on this one is shot out and heavily pitted throughout. Antique so no licensing required.Specifications
