Description
11/12/24 - For sale is a rare Czech VZ.54 sniper that was built on existing Mosin Nagant actions in inventory. The Czechs were known for not adopting everything produced and sold by the Soviet Union as seen by the VZ.52 and VZ.58 rifles. The VZ.54 was adopted for ease of manufacture and existing stockpile of receivers to build off.
The rifle is in great condition overall with the metal having a nice dark finish throughout. The rifle is unique compared to a 91/30 PU with a more extreme bent handle and a slanted scope mount. The stock is also a different design and allows the barrel to be free-floating. The stock had been sanded and varnished sometime in the past, likely by the arsenal, but is free of any cracks or breaks. The bore is bright with great rifling. The rifle has mismatched serial numbers throughout. The scope lens is clear and the PU style reticle is sharp. The rifle comes with a correct cleaning kit for the rifle and lens cover.¬
