Description

11/7/24 - This is a very rare and highly desirable Colt M1911 from 1913, one of only 1,250 issued to the United States Marines Corps that year. These are identified by serial range and shipping records, from numbers 36,401-37,650. This particular example has a good amount of its blue remaining, but notable patina and oxidation. Early Colt barrel with disconnect 'P H' markings. Rare, early "Keyhole" mag with lanyard ring intact. The grips show handling and smoothing but no cracks.
