Description

8/21/25 - This is a nice example of a rare Mauser P.38 assembled by the French using leftover Nazi parts in 1946. This one is rare because it has an "L" block serial number labeled on the underside of the tang. French proofs on the barrel. The majority of these have an "SVW 46" makers mark on the slide, this one is blank. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, wear along the barrel, and some scratches and marks along the slide and barrel. Fitted with desirable French "grey ghost" grips and comes with an un-marked magazine. Excellent bore with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
