Description
7/22/26 - For sale is a rare Imperial Navy Luger holster set complete with accessories. This holster is for a 1906/1908/1914 Navy Luger. The holster in this set is in good condition with sturdy, malleable leather with little wear. There are some spots of minor wear towards the bottom of the holster and on the left and right sides of the opening on the lid and body. There is a cut in the lid roughly 1" in length on the right side of the holster lid. The stitching is in tact with no loose or missing threads. The holster is mounted to a wooden Luger stock in great condition. The wood shows no signs of chips or cracks, but does have some light impressions in the wood from handling. In the center of the wooden stock is a lightly impressed Crown/M proof. Just below that proof is a metal insert which has a Crown/M proof, along with "W.K." and "4090". The mounting hardware on the stock is serialized "8001a". Attached to the stock is a leather strap in great condition with no signs or rips or tears. On the strap is an uncommon spare magazine pouch for 2 spare mags. The leather mag pouch only shows minor wear in the bottom corners of the magazine pockets, but is in otherwise great condition. All stitching on the pouch is in tact with no tearing. Within the holster is an original, Crown/M marked cleaning rod in with no scratches on the rod or the wooden handle, though the handle does show minor handling impressions. This rig is completed by an original Luger tool. This Luger tool has the Crown/M proof, along with a Naval unit marking "O.47". The "O" is representative of the German Naval term "Ostsee" which means East Sea, which denotes where this Naval unit operated.
