8/18/23 - This is a rare and very cool find: the P. Webley & Son Metropolitan Police revolver, made in 1883. This is an old Scotland Yard issued revolver, with inventory number on the left side of the frame. This likely would've been in police service at the time of their efforts to catch Jack the Ripper. The revolver is original, with notable wear on the grip frame, sides of receiver and cylinder. Nice bluing on the barrel, with an excellent bore. Original one-piece wood grip with handling wear but no cracks. Antique so no licensing required.
