Description
10/16/20 - This is a rare J. Kimball Arms .30 Carbine "Target Model" pistol with 5" barrel and adjustable rear sights. Less than 250 Kimball pistols were made, dating to late 1955 / early 1956, and this is #88. These are superbly made with tight tolerances and high-quality polished finish on the sides. The top of the slide and edges of the frame are a matte finish (ala the 1950's Colt Government Model). This is a mint example with beautiful original finish overall. A small scratch is on the rear right frame by the screw head, and there is some very light edge wear. The bore is sharp and clean. The Kimball has a well-deserved reputation for self-destruction but this pistol is solid with no damage or cracking. It should NOT be fired however due to the risk of damage or personal injury. It comes with a photocopy of the original owners manual.Specifications
