Description
6/16/21 - This is a very nice example of a dual-tone Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. This one has a rare FN-manufactured slide. It gets its dual-to appearance from a phosphate frame and slide and a blued barrel. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is just a hint of wear on the left front edge of the slide and some very light surface scratches on the right side of the slide. A few tiny handling marks on the barrel and a hint of thinning on the front strap. There is some spotty oxidation here and there, typical with these phosphate-finished guns. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct Mauser magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with very minor freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
