Description
10/5/21 - This an excellent example of a rare Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. This one has a rare FN-made slide. It also has a dual-tone appearance. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs. We believe that the finish has been restored - more specifically, the slide and frame have likely been re-parkerized. In any case, the gun is beautiful. It has retained virtually all of its new finish. There are just a few small pits and tiny dots of oxidation on the barrel. Some small dots of oxidation on the right side of the slide that are barely visible. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips and a rare "U" marked magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with some areas of minor freckling. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
