Description
11/7/22 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. This particular gun has a rare "ac 44" FN-made slide. It has a phosphate-finished frame and slide and a blued barrel, giving it its iconic dual-tone appearance. These phosphate finishes are always difficult to rate, but we estimate it has retained about 95%. There is some minor thinning on the front strap and areas of spotty discoloration here and there (typical). A few tiny handling marks and scratches on the slide. Comes with very nice black plastic grips and a period-correct "Waffen 135" proofed Mauser magazine. Stone-mint bore. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
