Description

7/13/21 - This is a near mint example of a very rare FN 24/30 rifle issued to the Dutch Police force after WW2. The gun is all matching and has the proper Dutch proofs. It is Crown/J marked on the receiver for Queen Juliana and specifically issued to the Amsterdam Municipal Police, one of only 200 produced for this contract order. Very early "55" serial number. It comes with an original cleaning rod and extended magazine. The gun has retained most of its bluing with very minor wear around the muzzle and a few very light surface scratches on the barrel. Excellent matching-numbered stock. The numbering is a little faint, so was probably lightly sanded. Mint bore.
