Description

3/21/23 - This is a minty example of a rare military Colt Model 1903, one of about 9,000 issued to the U.S. Military. This particular pistol is recorded by serial in John W. Brunner's book on Colt Pocket Hammerless Pistols as being issued to Major General G.P. Munson Jr in 1956 (we were unable to find anything on MG Munson's military service, feel free to email us if you have additional information about him). Slide and frame have matching serial numbers. Crossed cannons cartouche visible on left side of frame. The parkerized finish has just minor hints of handling wear, and the bore is minty. Terrific grips with just one scratch on the right panel. Mag is marked CAL .32 COLT on the base.
