Description

11/10/20 - This is a very rare Police Mauser Luger from 1940 with Eagle/C proof on receiver. There were only ~2,500 of this variation produced, and only ~1100 in 1940. The pistol has a nice profile with some wear on the muzzle and rails, but most of the thinning and patina is on the straps. There's also some pinpricking on the left side of the frame/sideplate. The grips are unmarked internally, though a previous owner scratched his name inside. There's also a minor chip under the safety. Rare magazine with blank bottom and 'fxo' over E/37 proofs on body. Excellent bore.
